One of my new year resolutions, was to read more books for personal growth and development, and listen to more podcasts.
How has it been?
Amazing!! (and i mean that)
And its just April.
For a while I though self help books were just scams. I mean, why will i want to read a book that tells me how to grow,
besides don’t I already know how to grow?
Not only do these books help you become a better person, but it opens your eyes to understanding both yourself, and how people think,
and to a whole new world of possibilities.
I cannot recommend enough the books i am about to share with you, and I want you to get these books and start reading,
and live your life on this earth with fulfillment and purpose.
These books have definitely changed my mindset for the better, and i know they will have a solid impact on your life too.

1. HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE by DALE CARNEGIE
This was the first book I grabbed this year from a bookstore nearby, and I can say it is one of the best books i have ever read,
that teach you about human relations and how to interact with people and make friends.
This books stems from 15 years of research, so you know this book is worth the purchase.
He explains and gives principles on how to win friends in your social circle, influence people and even gain popularity doing so.
I suggest you get this book, and make sure you read it over and over, and apply the principles given,
because that is the only way to get the best out of the book.

2. ATOMIC HABITS by JAMES CLEAR
This book is always at the top list of every personal growth and development section of any book store,
whether online or offline.
And that s because of the great wisdom and power that has been put into writing this book.
We all tend to have bad habits sometimes, and this book explains how we can form new and powerful habits to overcome those habits.
These new habits will become a part and parcel of you and will greatly be of good use in your daily life.

3. YOU ARE A BADASS by JEN SINCERO
The name of this book speaks for itself.
I got this book for a friend as a gift, and a few months later, she called back telling me how great the book was.
And the crazy fact?
I haven’t read the book yet. But hearing the joy in her voice as she thanked me for the book, I realized i have to read it.
And I did.
The review?? MINDBLOWING.
Jen Sincero clearly shows a no bullsh*t approach towards self-help, personal growth and living your best life.
This books shows you that you are a badass, and why you should tell yourself that every day.

4. THE SUBTLE ART OF NOT GIVING A FUCK by MARK MANSON
Some people may not be a fan of this book, or of his blog, but I am a die hard fan.
He also shows a no BS approach to self love, and a counterintuitive approach to living a good life.
No wonder his book is an International Best Seller, because he uses his book to speak to the hearts and mind of many,
he definitely spoke to mine.

5. HOW TO STOP WORRYING AND START LIVING by DALE CARNEGIE
As long as it is from Dale Carnegie, it is a good book, and I will read it.
Just like his former book, this one is also based on years of research, and he provides principles on how you can stop worrying and start living.
I believe is time we stop focusing on what we did wrong in the past, because the past is the past, and start working now to prepare for the future.
Worrying is a disease, and this book helps you overcome that disease and live your best life.

6. THE DEFINING DECADE: WHY YOUR TWENTIES MATTER by JAY MEG
Are you in your twenties, it doesn’t matter which twenty you are, but as long as you are here, this book is a must read.
You might be worried about how to go about your twenties, but right now….. Hold that Thought, and grab this book ASAP.
The author shows you instances of people in their twenties who thought they had no destination, and with the right coaching,
got them on track.
She explains why your twenties matter and why twenty is NOT the new thirty.
I am in my twenties, and this book has shaped my mind to the possibilities awaiting twenty year old’s.
